Blogger's Block
Well this has been very interesting! Myself and my siblings were all lying very quiet for some time in the blogosphere but, like a supposedly extinct volcano, there was suddenly grand explosion of blogging. Not that they could keep quiet for any length of time mind you! How has the blogging started again? With trivia questions! Any good educator knows that if you want to get a response from your charges you ask a question that makes them use the old grey matter. So, in response to our blogger version of Trivial Pursuit, what will my question be.......? What stringed instrument was once alive but now extinct? Could be eaten? And came from a cricketing nation? Try that one smarty pants!

Ravi Shankars favorite instrument? The sitar?
Too easy! What are you still doing up?
You beat me you little smartie......although it's not something I would choose to eat
So I'm going to have to go much tougher next time!! I suppose it was Beatle related aswell.
Yes, it was Beatles related. Ravi Shankar played all of the sitar parts on George Harrison's songs, and, if I recall correctly, all of the Beatles made a pilgrimage to visit Shankar at some point.
Given that the Beatles visited Shankar during their more "enlightened" period... the old sitar would have been handy to cure the munchies!
And you accuse me of awful comments?
True... My bad!
